Do you have an adaptive and inquisitive mind? This course is suitable for people with a passion for Science, or its role in the Criminal Justice System, or Medical & Health. You should be methodical, meticulous with detail and be ready to accept new challenges. This course is your first step towards working within the field of Science, and one which provides you with the basic skills and knowledge required to further your study at university. As well as learning new methods of working you will find that your communication skills will improve, as this is an important skill for any Scientist. You will also learn how to assemble and process data while being articulate about your findings.

What you need to get on

You will require a minimum of 5 GCSEs at grades A*-C including English, maths and double Science grades 9-4 (formerly A*-C). Alternatively successful completion of a relevant Level 2 qualification and have achieved a Level 2 Functional Skill in English and maths.
