Our sport courses include lots of opportunities for you to get hands on experience of the world of work, including:Work experience with businesses like Watford FCVaried trips and activities to businesses and events like the skills Show at the NEC, the Lee Valley White Water Centre and Lee Valley Athletics Centre.Your course will be a mix of classroom sessions, practical lessons and sessions with employers including Pure Gym and the Rugby Football Union Community Coach. You will also go on several off-site visits including sports labs at universities and the Olympic Park.Topics include physical activities for children, participating in sport, and planning your own fitness programme.You will learn the skills you need for the workplace including communication, numeracy, organisation and relationship building.

What you need to get on

To join this course, you'll need four GCSEs at grade E or above - including maths and English grade E or entry level functional skills

How you are assessed

Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.
