The Pearson BTEC Level 2 National First Diploma in Fitness Training and Exercise Instruction is designed for students who seek a career in the fitness and leisure industry, or progression onto a Level 3 course.

What you need to get on

5 GCSEs Grade Levels 9-3, including a Grade 3 in GCSE English Language and at least one Science, GCSE PE if taken, or a Level 2 Pass in a relevant BTEC qualification. A clear enthusiasm for and commitment to regular training and exercise would be expected to be shown at interview, and indeed throughout the duration of the course. Practical experience of exercise is a necessary part of this course.
