If you are passionate about film, animation, graphic design, or photography and enjoy working in a creative and exciting environment, then the Level 2 Diploma in Creative Media Skills is the perfect course for you. You will work within our industry standard creative editing suites and studios to gain experience in many different areas of Media. You will learn how to produce creative films, graphic products, and advertising campaigns, as well as developing your photography skills and learning about different Media products and audiences. This qualification will allow you to progress to a Level 3 course upon completion, grades depending.

What you need to get on

Five GCSEs at grades 1 or above (Old GCSE grade G or above) or equivalent, a portfolio of work or a Level 1 qualification and a portfolio of work will be required when you are invited in for a review. If you do not have a portfolio of work to bring to the interview, you may be set a task to complete within 2 weeks as a condition to enrolment. If you do not meet the entry requirements, the Level 1 Exploring the Creative Arts Extended Certificate could be for you.

One subject in depth, assessed largely through coursework and projects.

The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
