This project-based course will help you develop the skills to produce a basic 2D game in Unreal Engine. Build your skills across aspects of Game Art and Design using the latest industry standard software and equipment. The course covers pre-production and planning, level design, image editing, character creation and animations. Develop a portfolio of your work to log your progress, reflect on your research and evaluate the skills you’ve developed. You will be taught by industry experts in practical lessons with industry software to give you the foundation and knowledge to progress.
What you need to get on
3 GCSEs at Grade 4 or above, or a relevant Level 1 qualification.
How you are assessed
One subject in depth, assessed largely through coursework and projects.
What this level means
The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
