BTEC Business Single
at Great Sankey High School, Warrington · school or sixth form
What the college says
The Edexcel BTEC Business course is an exciting programme that offers a real alternative to A' Level. This is for students who prefer undertaking course work to examinations. Grades A, C and E are achievable on completion of the course, in addition to the development of valuable practical employability skills. Business is one of the few remaining growth industries and many job opportunities exist in many different areas of business including accountancy, retail, HR, marketing and administration. The UK has an entrepreneurial culture with more small business start-ups than anywhere else in Europe. This course will provide a springboard to a university degree or Foundation Degree in an appropriate vocational discipline, to BTEC HNCs and HNDs, or to employment within the industry or to setting up in Business on your own.
