What the college says
This Level 1 course is for people with no previous experience of learning sign language. It is also a suitable course for those people who have an interest in working with deaf people and is the first step to a career in BSL/English interpreting. It is essential that you commit to attending all classes and practise in your own time to reinforce your learning.
What you need to get on
This is a level 1 course - so no experience necessary.----Commitment to attending all classes--You will commit to a further 26 hours of private study and practise in your own time to reinforce what you have learnt--

Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.

A first step that builds towards Level 2.
