What the college says

This course will help you develop basic conversational skills in British Sign Language (BSL). You will gain an understanding of deaf awareness, community, and culture. Throughout the course, you will build confidence in both BSL production and receptive skills across a variety of themes. Each session introduces new vocabulary which you will then use to develop and extend conversations. Vocabulary and BSL grammar are regularly revisited and expanded, especially if you continue to study further levels of BSL. For more information please contact acladmin@southdevon.ac.uk.
