What the college says
You will develop your knowledge and understanding of different areas of biology and how they relate to each other. You will explore the mechanics of life and biological systems as well as the interactions of living organisms within their environment. The course uses a context led approach which means that all aspects of the syllabus are related to real-life situations to help with understanding the content. This will include 18 core practical experiments which will enable you to develop your practical skills in line with university requirements.

5 GCSE grades 9-5, including English and Mathematics and a grade 6 in Combined Science or Biology
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
