Advanced Level 2 year course. Students will study fundamental biological concepts including cells and genetics. Success on the course will rely heavily on the ability to carry out and evaluate biological practical assignments. Biology is never far from the headlines either, with the mapping of the human genome, studies to find cures and treatments for diseases and genetic modification of crops.
