Year 1 will cover biological molecules, cells, how organisms exchange substances with their environment and genetic information. Year 2 will cover energy transfers in and between organisms, how organisms respond to changes in their internal and external environments, genetics, populations, and ecosystems.

What you need to get on

GSCE 6 grade 5 (or C) in any any subjects including Maths and English Language, with min. 5 at grades 6 (or B). 7 to do Maths, Chemistry, Physics. 6 to do Biology or 76 in Combined. Grade 8 in Maths to do Further Math.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
