You should achieve a minimum grade 5 in English literature or language and grade 6 in mathematics alongside achieving the following in science: GCSE biology exam or trilogy: a grade 6 minimum The double award: a grade 6-6 minimum Studying core maths alongside biology helps you develop skills that will support the quantitative aspects of the course such as: selecting appropriate statistical techniques, interpretative and exploring data using diagrams and calculations.
