What the college says

Engaging and inspiring, the Biology A level has been developed to engage and inspire students by showing how an understanding of many issues requires a grasp of biological ideas. Well-chosen content provides an enjoyable learning experience and allows progression to further study. It forms a sound basis for applications to courses in biological sciences, any of the medical or environmental disciplines – or an interesting additional A level subject in its own right, to be used in applications in other areas. This A level would lead directly into subject related university courses and careers, and indirectly into a wide range of higher education courses and career choices. - BSc (Hons) Biology - BSc (Hons) Biological Sciences - Careers in science e.g. Biochemist - Careers in healthcare e.g. immunologist
