Such practical, analytical and problem solving skills will be developed through regular practical work and are invaluable. As well as this there are many opportunities offered to students to enrich the curriculum, such as fieldwork on a rocky shore, visiting lecturers, visits to observe farming practices and to a university laboratory for a genetics workshop.
