What the college says
Biological molecules, cells, how organisms exchange substances with their environment and genetic information, variation and relationships between organisms. Energy transfers in and between organisms, how organisms respond to changes in their internal and external environments, genetics, populations, evolution and ecosystems and the control of gene expression.
What you need to get on
GCSE 6-6 in Combined Sciences or GCSE 6 in Biology plus one other science 6 grade; and a 5 in Maths
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
