Aims of the course are to encourage you, the candidate, to develop an enthusiasm for Biology, practical skills alongside understanding of concepts and principles and an appropriate and relevant foundation of knowledge and skills for the study of Biology in Higher Education.
What you need to get on
Grade 6+ in Maths. Strongly recommended that students have attained a grade 7 or better in GCSE Science subjects. For Double Award GCSE Science students grades 6 and 7 are required. For triple award students a grade 6 in Biology plus a grade 6 in one other science.
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
