This level 2 work-based qualification will enable you to build the knowledge and skills needed when supporting teaching and learning in a school environment. It covers a wide range of areas including children and young peoples development, supporting those with disabilities or special educational needs, communication and professional relationships. The qualification is assessed by being observed in the workplace and completing e-learning and written tasks. You need to working in a suitable role for a minimum of 7 hours per week.
