What the college says

Are you intrigued by the prospect of a hands-on career in plumbing and heating? Our beginner course is thoughtfully designed to provide you with the skills, knowledge, and behaviours necessary to embark on a pathway towards further study, apprenticeships, or full-time employment. Throughout the course, we will offer a comprehensive blend of theoretical - what you need to know and practical - hands on sessions, to put into practice what you have learnt to ensure a well-rounded understanding of plumbing and heating. You'll have the chance to engage in extensive enrichment activities, including industry and community-based projects, as well as exciting trips and visits. The plumbing and heating industry encompasses various roles. A heating engineer specialises in managing your home heating system, including the boiler, thermostat, and hot water cylinder. On the other hand, a plumber focuses on water appliances such as taps, toilets, and sinks.
