Welcome to the Aspiring Professionals Plumbing programme at Wirral Met. This course is your first step toward a career in the plumbing and heating industry. You'll gain hands-on experience with key techniques such as pipe bending, jointing, and installing plumbing systems, while also improving your confidence, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. The programme is a stepping stone to a Level 2 Plumbing qualification.
What you need to get on
There are no formal entry qualifications required to study at this level. Basic levels of literacy and numeracy are expected. If English is not your first language, you may need an assessment before enrolling on this course. To discuss further, please contact the ESOL department on 0151 551 7144.

Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.
