Our Level 3 VRQ Diploma in Beauty Therapy techniques course aims to provide you with a range of specialist practical skills such as massage techniques, facial and body electrical treatments as well as massage using pre-blended aromatherapy oils and stone therapy massage. You will benefit from developing your technical knowledge in areas such as anatomy and physiology, communication, and selling skills. We have excellent facilities and you will be taught by qualified and experienced staff. This course will equip you to seek employment or further training within the beauty therapy industry. This course is an approximate split of 60% practical and 40% theory. There is a large amount of science-based knowledge that is needed to be learnt and understood in order to complete practical treatments and pass this qualification. You will be required to purchase the level 3 uniform and kit and adhere to the strict dress code required in our salons. Additionally, home study will also be needed (approximately 5-6 hours per week) to support your learning. If you are aged 16 to 18, you will be enrolled on a study programme. This will include retaking GCSEs or undertaking Functional Skills in English and maths if you haven't already achieved a grade 4 or above. You will take part in activities that help you to develop your personal skills, such as building your character and confidence. This will help you to live well and move into your chosen career.
