Looking and feeling your best is important to everyone. You can help people to do both with our Level 3 Beauty and Spa Therapy Study Programme. Working in Salon QG on campus, youll learn about electrical facial and body treatments, dry spa and wraps, a range of massage therapies including traditional and aromatherapy techniques, as well as gaining an understanding of the health and safety issues that you need to know about in the beauty and spa industry. Youll do additional work experience to test your practical knowledge and boost your employability, maths and English skills as part of the programme. This course prepares you for your career as a beauty therapist, or spa therapist, working in a salon or even on cruise liners! You can progress into higher education from this course with UCAS points as well. These are compulsory areas: Promote and sell products and services to clients Provide body massage Provide facial electrotherapy treatments Provide body electrotherapy treatments Anatomy & Physiology Provide dry spa treatments Optional areas include: Provide Hot stone massage treatments Tanning treatments
