This Award course helps you develop the digital skills employers value most; using Microsoft Word and Excel effectively. Whether you're preparing for the workplace, advancing in your career, or returning to education, this qualification gives you practical, hands-on experience to boost your confidence and productivity. The Certificate course is for returning learners who have already completed the Award and builds on prior learning to learn Microsoft PowerPoint, Access databases and then complete a short Employability unit.

What you need to get on

You should have a good level of digital skills such as those covered in EDSQ Level 1 and a reasonable level of reading, writing, and maths. There are no formal entry requirements for this course, but an initial assessment will be completed prior to enrolling onto this course to check prior knowledge and ensure you join the correct level course for you.

Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.
