What the college says
There are lots of rewarding careers in the health and care sector, this course will give you a broad introduction to the sector and the skills required.
What you need to get on
As this is a level 1 course you should have an English qualification at entry level 3 or above. This could be a GCSE or an equivalent such as a functional skills qualification. You will also need to undertake an initial assessment to determine if this is the right level for you. You do not need any experience of working in the adult social care sector.

Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.
