This ceramics course is designed for adults with little or no prior experience. Over the duration of the course, students will explore foundational ceramic techniques including hand-building, slab construction, coil building, and basic wheel-throwing. Participants will also learn essential skills such as surface decoration and glazing to finish their pieces. The course encourages creativity, experimentation, and personal expression while providing a supportive learning environment. By the end, students will have developed confidence in working with clay and created a range of functional and decorative ceramic items.
