What the college says
This course is designed to give students the skills to work in any administrative role, or face-to-face with members of the public. It is a competence-based programme, intended to enable students to develop the basic knowledge and self-discipline needed to provide a good background in administration. Subjects covered could include; communication, handling mail, working safely in a business environment, using office equipment, store and retrieve information. Students will also develop essential IT skills such as word processing and presentations.
