Students work towards the University of the Arts London (UAL) Level 1 Art, Design and Media Diploma during one year of study. If you have had an interrupted education in mainstream school and need to build confidence and develop your art skills in a supportive environment, then this is the course for you. You will need to have an interest in different art forms, including drawing and painting using different mediums and sculpture. We spend a lot of time in the art rooms so this is a full-on course experimenting with many different methods and materials. In addition to your main programme, you will develop your English and Maths; working towards your Grade 4. Please check our English and Maths page for further information.

What you need to get on

Students are expected to have engaged with and completed High School, or a diverse home school, education. Students require a selection of GCSEs including English, maths and an art-related subject.

Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.
