This course is for anyone interested in art, design or media – especially if you haven’t studied these subjects before. You will explore materials, methods and processes to produce art, design and media work as well as investigate 2D, 3D work as well as digital outcomes. You will also look at how these skills combine collaboratively to produce an outcome (artwork, animation, design work).

What you need to get on

Four GCSEs at grade 2 or above, including maths and English. Students with lower than a grade 4 in maths and/or English will resit as part of their study programme. An interest in creative study is essential - this would be demonstrated at interview.

How you are assessed

Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.

A first step that builds towards Level 2.
