Art & Design courses are taught by expert tutors with industry experience at the Centre for Excellence in Creative Arts, based in the Parson's Walk building. You will work on a wide range of projects, including live briefs set by external clients from local companies and design agencies. You will also showcase your work to the public through exhibitions and competitions. Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.

The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
