This course not only teaches you skills, how to visualise but also how to focus on an area and realise progression goals related to your future interests and aspirations. This course is supportive to you from the outset, content as well as setting you up to progress onto one of our Level 3 courses. On this course you will be shown how to be experimental and developmental with your creativity in context to pathway related work. You will be supported by a team of industry professionals with lots of experience in the fields of art and design.

To join this exciting course you will need:A portfolio of past or current work you can bring to an interviewCommitment and enthusiasm for artFour GCSEs at Grade 3 or above including GCSE Art or Design.
How you are assessed
Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.
What this level means
The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
