Candidates will be asked to provide a portfolio of varied, good quality art-work, which will be discussed at an informal interview. You will be asked to provide a reference. Students study the UAL Level 3 Applied General Diploma and Extended Diploma in Art and Design over two years. They are designed to provide post-16 students with the skills, knowledge and understanding necessary to progress into further, higher education and training or employment. The Diploma is graded at Pass, High Pass, Merit, High Merit or Distinction, with the Distinction grade being worth 84 UCAS points. The Art & Design pathway is enjoyable, varied and challenging. It is designed for those who are not yet sure of which specialist area of Art & Design they wish to pursue. In addition to your main programme you will also study English and Maths. What you need to get on

Achieve 4 GCSEs at grade 4 or above including English Language and Art & Design, or an art-related subject.
