Languages are an invaluable skill to have in today's market. The study of languages will build upon your existing knowledge gained at GCSE. It will give you a sound understanding of using your language in a variety of contexts and situations; whether on holiday, at work, or just in normal day-to-day life. You will improve your communication in the foreign language by developing your listening, speaking, reading and writing skills, as well as your grammatical and literary understanding. The courses are designed to help you develop proficiency in your chosen foreign language and to appreciate the diversity of cultures in an ever expanding multilingual global society.

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
