What the college says
This is a course for anyone wishing to follow a career in the aviation industry. You will learn about security on the aircraft and at the airport, complete practical assessments at airline training facilities and take part in role play in a mock cabin environment. The course is taught by lecturers experienced within the industry. Many of our students go on to become successful at airline interviews and enjoy a career in the air.
What you need to get on
To apply for this course you will need:----Be able to swim 25 metres--Maths and English GCSE at level C--Excellent communication skills----It would be an advantage to have:----Aviation experience--Customer service experience--Foreign languages--
How you are assessed
Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.
What this level means
The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
