If you dream of a career as cabin crew travelling the world, this course will give you an insight into the training requirements and daily life of a crew member. Led by ex crew members you will be taught in classrooms and our own cabin, to complete practical and written realistic assessments in line with those set by airlines during the recruitment process. The course allows students to learn, develop and practise the skills required for employment in the aviation industry, or to progress to the level 3 Diploma in Aviation Operations. The course allows students to learn, develop and practise the skills required for employment in the Cabin Crew industry, or to progress to the level 3 Diploma in Aviation Operations or Level 3 Travel and tourism.

What you need to get on

You must be at least 17 years old to start this programme Level 1 qualification or GCSEs x 2 at grade 3/D in MATHS or ENGLISH Additional requiments Swim 100 metres Be over 5 feet 3 inches tall Have no visible tattoos Have no piercings Make-up is essential (females) Hair must be tied back at all times You will be required to purchase uniform, textbooks and pay for trips

How you are assessed

Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.

What this level means

The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
