What the college says
This one year full-time Level 1 land based course combines practical agriculture countryside and environment and animal experiences on the Common Leys Farm along with theory to cover key concepts. You will get to work with a range of animals to include some livestock. Whilst developing your practical skills the course will also help you to develop other employability skills like safe working and working in a team.
What you need to get on
English & maths GCSE at grade 2 or Level 1 Functional Skills in both subjects.
How you are assessed
Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.
