If you want to pursue a career involving animals, then this is an excellent place to start. You will work alongside industry experts weekly in the first-class facilities at Rand Farm Park. This Technical Diploma Level course will provide you with the underpinning skills and knowledge in animal-related subjects and give you the experience required to further develop your understanding. You will be required to complete an extended work experience placement (150 hrs) within the animal sector. During this course, you’ll learn: Animal health and husbandry Animal feeding and nutrition Animal behaviour and communication Biological systems of animals Animal welfare and breeding Pet store design and management Animal nursing Kennel and cattery management Exotic animal health and husbandry Dog grooming
