This course focuses on the practical skills required to work in all aspects of the travel industry allowing you to develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours required for successful progression. You will study a range of specialist units including overseas holiday representative, guided tours, entertainment, ski chalet host and conference and events. Furthermore you will have the opportunity to study aspects of the aviation industry including working in an airport and cabin crew. Trips and residentials are an integral part of the course. Visits can include: cabin crew training with British Airways at Heathrow airport, residential visits to The Gambia, Europe or in the UK. Industry daytrips to widen knowledge include: Swadlincote Ski Centre, Walesby, Alton Towers, Pantomime, East Midlands Airport and Yorkshire Wildlife Park.
