Students study nine media forms and associated set products using a theoretical framework covering media language, media representations, media industries and media audiences. They also consider the social, cultural, economic, political and historical contexts of media products.

What you need to get on

Grade 6 in GCSE English Literature or English language. Students with a grade 6 in Sociology or Media Studies at GCSE will be considered with grade 5 English

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
