Latin A Level is very similar to GCSE in splitting equally between studying Language and Literature. Latin remains very highly regarded by professional employers and university admissions officers. Studying Latin enhances students academic record as it reflects a keen, able and perceptive mind. Latin helps to develop clarity of thought and an organised and logical approach to learning; it therefore provides key transferable skills. It complements other academic subjects, including languages and humanities, as well as science and technological subjects.

Grade 6 or above in Latin GCSE.

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
