What the college says
Students will study a broad range of Biology and Biochemistry based topics ranging from the building blocks of life, to how whole ecosystems function, and the interactions that occur within and between species. It is hoped that students will develop a passion for the subject and awareness and understanding of Biology in today�s society, and be able to apply their knowledge gained from their study in a variety of different contexts.
What you need to get on
General entry requirements are: Five grade 5s at GCSE, including GCSE English Language or GCSE English literature and GCSE Maths. Subject specific entry requirements are: Grades 77 in GCSE Science (combined sciences) or Grade 7 in GCSE Biology (separate sciences) and Grade 6 in GCSE Maths.

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
