What the college says

The AAT Advanced Diploma in Accounting covers a range of complex accounting tasks, including maintaining cost accounting records and the preparation of reports and returns. Students will learn and master a number of accounting disciplines including financial processes, advanced bookkeeping, final accounts and ethical practices for accountants. This course provides a more in-depth and complex outlook on accounting than the Level 2 qualification, learning about processing the information and what to do once it has been processed. It also looks at how you should act in your role, ethically and professionally. It is aimed to support more advanced accounting roles such as an Accounts Assistant or Finance Assistant. After completion, application for AAT associate bookkeeping membership can be made to achieve professional AATQB status.
