This course offers advanced accountancy study. You will get high quality work experience in your chosen occupational area, develop your CV with nationally recognised qualifications as well as enjoy a salary and all of the perks of working for a company. The progression opportunities are endless, you may become a qualified Accountant leading a finance department or owning your own business. Some financial incentives are available to support apprenticeship learning for 16 to 18 year olds and for organisations with fewer than 50 employees.

What you need to get on

In general you will need to have 4 GCSEs at Grade C or above as a minimum, including maths or relevant number of years working within an accountancy role. You will need to be interested in working with figures, enjoy problem solving, be prepared to work hard, learn varied tasks and work effectively as part of a team and individually.

How you are assessed

Two-year technical qualification with a 45-day industry placement. Equivalent to three A levels.
