The one-year Level 2 Administration for Legal & Professional Services programme is suitable for learners aged 16+ (Year 11 leavers). We will train you in the skills, knowledge and behaviours you need to become an apprentice administrator in the Legal and Professional Services industries. At the end of the one-year Level 2 programme, you will be able to apply for a Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship we have created with legal and professional services employers in London or alternatively progress onto the Level 3 Administration for Legal & Professional Services programme. Our programme is divided into three distinct areas being Administration, Technical and Legal and within those areas you will learn the following: SKILLS Proficiency in key administrative tasks such as maintaining filing systems and records, organising business travel, drafting emails, planning events, diary management to arrange meetings and related meeting documentation, as well as the basics of co-ordinating mail, printing, photocopying and scanning. Intermediate technical skills in the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook for the production of professional documents and correspondence. Proofreading of professional documents and development of literacy skills. KNOWLEDGE Understanding the structure of an organisation and the fundamentals of business. Awareness of key regulation and policies in the workplace, legal terminology and the UK legal and political system.
