The course will give you acting experience as well as a range of work designed to help you understand how theatre works and develop essential background knowledge. Work Experience is a key aspect of your learning journey and you will be supported to engage with the professional world to enhance your knowledge and understanding of the industry.

What you need to get on

You will need 4 GCSEs at grade 3 or above. Previous experience or simply a desire to experience theatre acting is essential whatever qualifications you might possess. You will need to successfully complete an audition and interview.

How you are assessed

Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.

The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
