Our teaching team consist of both AAT fully qualified professionals and industry experienced lecturers.

What you need to get on

Ability to work to a Level 2 standard in Maths and English and a working knowledge of Excel and Word. A skills test to assess your suitability for the course. Please note AAT will not register anyone as a member if you have any of the following; you have been made bankrupt; entered into an agreement with creditors; any criminal convictions; found guilty of an offence under the Companies Act and Financial Services Act; or been issued a County Court Judgment.

How you are assessed

Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.

What this level means

The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
