What will I study? This A Level course leads on naturally from the GCSE course with a very up to date format that focuses on important current issues. The four modules that together comprise the A Level hold within them a number of different elements. In both years fieldwork, locally and abroad, will form an essential requirement of the course. Physical Geography Topics include: • Water cycle and Water Insecurity • Carbon Cycle and Energy Security • Glacial landscapes and charge • Tectonic Processes and Hazards Human Geography Topics include: • Globalisation • Diverse places • Superpowers Health, Human Rights and Intervention.

What you need to get on

Five Level 4 GCSEs are required for entry into 6th Form. GCSE Level 5 pass is required in your chosen, or related, subject.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
