Studying the Subject - Spanish in the Sixth Form is lively, interactive and challenging. The course is based around the study of topics of interest, including the media, popular culture, lifestyle and family relationships at AS, and, at A2, film, literature, the arts, the environment, multi-cultural society and contemporary social issues. Lessons are mainly conducted in Spanish and practise listening, speaking, reading and writing equally. Resources include the internet, satellite television, magazines, film, music and literature. All students are encouraged to spend time in Spain during their course. We offer our students the opportunity of joining our Spanish exchange programme in Year 12.

What you need to get on

Subject specific entry requirements - Students should have achieved a minimum Grade B in Spanish. Students also need to achieve a grade B in English due to the essay writing involved.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
