WJEC Course: Students who enjoying thinking critically, abstractly and profoundly about the world and the human condition. It is complimentary to have studied RS GCSE and enjoyed the Ethics Year 10 course. If you enjoyed learning about different perspectives about complex issues such as Euthanasia, challenges of science to religion, where morality comes from and how Christianity navigates modern secular society. You will learn to argue and justify opinions from many different perspectives and how these can relate or disagree with each other. You will improve your higher level thinking techniques and debating skills by analysing and evaluating themes and concepts of the human condition.

What you need to get on

Typical grades needed 5 x GCSE at grade 4 or above. with a minimum grade 5 in the subject you wish to study or a related subject.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.

The A-level-equivalent step, and what universities and employers ask for.
