What the college says

A Level Psychology - Why do you: o Behave the way you do? o Feel the way you do? o Think the way you do? What makes us different and what makes us the same? These are just a few of the questions explored in Psychology. Why study Psychology at A-Level? Psychology will challenge you to think about important life issues such as how far you would go to make someone obey you if you were in a position of authority or whether your memory is really as reliable as you think it is. It equips you with essential research and evaluative skills. You will also learn how our understanding of human behaviour can be applied in both day-to-day situations and in specific areas such as mental health, improving health behaviours, criminal behaviour and aggression.
