A Level PE is a practical and engaging course that allows students to study PE in an academic setting. A Level PE is a popular option at Ashlawn Sixth Form and the course will prepare learners for the further study of PE or sports science courses as well as other related subject areas such as psychology, sociology and biology. The course allows learners to explore an activity in detail as a performer or coach, chosen from a wide variety of sporting activities. Learners will also be required to analyse and evaluate performance in a chosen activity

5 GCSEs or equivalent at 5+, including 4+ in Maths, 5+ in English, and 6+/Merit+ in GCSE PE or BTEC Sport
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
