Media Studies develops creative and critical knowledge, understanding and skills. The course aims to cover a wide range of Media texts including print based and audio‑visual Media in a range of formats and genres comprising of, advertising and merchandise, magazines, music videos, video games and television. You will be studying these texts in depth and will be expected to discuss their conventions and issues they present for society and audiences.

What you need to get on

5 GCSEs or equivalent at 5+, including 4+ in Maths and 5+ in English Language

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
